Mumbai-based startup Snabbit, a quick-service app specializing in hyperlocal, on-demand home services, has raised $19 million in a Series B funding round led by global venture capital firm Lightspeed. The round also saw participation from existing investors Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, signaling strong confidence in the company’s vision to transform everyday home tasks in India.
Founded with the mission to simplify urban living, Snabbit connects households with trusted and trained professionals for services such as cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. The app aims to bring speed, trust, and quality to a traditionally offline and informal sector, making these services accessible with just a tap.
The freshly infused capital will be utilized to fuel rapid expansion into new micro-markets across India. Currently operating in around 10 micro-markets, Snabbit has ambitious plans to scale to over 200 micro-markets within the next 9 to 12 months, focusing on metro cities and beyond.
In addition to geographic expansion, the funds will help strengthen the team and enhance the platform’s technology to improve user experience and service reliability. Founder Aayush Agarwal emphasized the company’s commitment to tackling long-ignored home service challenges in India.
Snabbit’s innovative approach has positioned it as a leader in the quick-service home assistance space, a sector gaining traction as urban consumers increasingly seek convenient, reliable solutions for daily tasks. Lightspeed’s backing further validates the startup’s potential to become a household name.
