Notable players in this space include Strategy (MSTR), which alone holds a significant portion of corporate Bitcoin, contributing to over 3% of total BTC in circulation. Other firms, such as Semler Scientific and Metaplanet, have also accelerated their acquisitions, with Metaplanet recently reaching 8,888 BTC in its treasury, inching closer to a 10,000 BTC target.
This surge in corporate adoption is reshaping the cryptocurrency landscape, as Bitcoin's market cap now surpasses several tech giants, signaling its growing legitimacy as an asset class. Analysts suggest that this trend could further drive Bitcoin's price, with some predicting a 57% rise needed to outpace the largest corporate market caps.
