Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated M&A Analyst to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis (15 hours/week), with the potential to scale. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying underperforming mental health practices that align with Luna Joy’s acquisition strategy. Your work will directly support our mission by helping expand our reach and improve care delivery through strategic business growth.
As part of the Luna Joy team, you will play an essential role in directly supporting the mental health journey of one million women with purpose-driven innovation, unwavering compassion, and transformative care. You will need speed to adapt quickly and efficiently, and the drive to be 1% better every day, constantly striving for improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and research underperforming mental health practices in the $1–4M revenue range as potential acquisition targets.
- Outreach Management: Craft and send personalized outreach emails, follow up with leads, and track all communication touch points within our CRM (e.g., Streak).
- CRM Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, interactions, and status updates to ensure a clean and efficient system.
- Initial Screening: Conduct financial and operational pre-assessments to evaluate initial viability of targets.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve sourcing and outreach processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Reporting: Deliver regular reports on pipeline status, outreach performance, and deal flow progress to the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in acquisitions, business development, or a similar role
- Comfortable with CRM platforms like Streak or HubSpot
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- A proactive, systems-driven thinker with the ability to work independently
Nice to Haves
- Experience sourcing deals in the healthcare or behavioral health space
- Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, or strategic M&A
